Sojourner Truth, an ex-slave and fiery abolitionist, delivered her "Ain't I A Woman?" speech at the Women's Convention in Akron, Ohio in 1851. The first published version of the speech, reproduced on this antiqued parchment document, along with her photograph, was not released until 1863.
