These new historic replicas of Civil War period Union States banknote are printed on unique paper which has the appearance and texture of old parchment.

The replica notes are printed on one side only. They are printed in black ink, like most original currency of the time. Some of the original notes may have been printed using color ink and/or may have had reverse side printing. The word "COPY" is marked upon each replica note in accordance with the requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations, Hobby Protection Act.

The banknotes are inserted in a display envelope for protection and storage. The back of the envelope includes detailed historical notes about money during the Civil War period, and about each banknote in this set.

Your order will be shipped in a larger rigid paperboard envelope, or in a tube or box if part of a larger order.
